Service Description

Tennessee State Law requires you to have a tattoo license to perform Cosmetic Tattoo and Micro blading unless operating under the supervision of a TN licensed physician. BEFORE APPLYING FOR AN APPRENTICESHIP: *A Tattoo Apprentice Permit must be applied for and obtained at your Public Health Center before starting the apprenticeship. *This is NOT a fundamental training course. Basic training must be completed and proof of certification shown BEFORE an apprenticeship. An apprenticeship lasts one calendar year and cannot be completed earlier. The cost is $6000. Although this is not a training course, it is more than simply receiving a piece of paper to offer cosmetic tattoo services. There are attendance & service requirements and the apprentice is expected to improve exponentially throughout the year. *Maven Cosmetic Tattoo Studio does not offer micro blading services. Therefore, in order to maintain the integrity of the permanent cosmetics industry, micro blade apprenticeships are not offered.
