Pre Appointment

ARE YOU A CANDIDATE FOR PERMANENT COSMETICS?

CONDITIONS THAT WILL AFFECT RETENTION AND HEALING: 

*Oily or severely oily skin.  The hair strokes will appear more blended, solid or not retain at all.  Powder Brow is recommended.

*Alcohol, caffeine, and blood thinners (unless prescribed by your doctor).  Do not consume 48 hours before your appointment.    All will cause excessive bleeding and will affect your results.

*Smoking will slow healing.

*Frequent exercise (3-7 days per week).  Wait 48 hours after a procedure to exercise, then only light exercise for the next 7 days.

  Due to the frequent production of sweat (salt), the tattoo will fade quicker, appear blurred or change color.

*NO SUNBURN 30 DAYS PRIOR & 30 DAYS AFTER PROCEDURE

*Stop exfoliation, glycolic acids, Retinols, Vitamin A on the brow area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

*Botox or fillers should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment.

*Pregnant or nursing.  Must wait 6 months after delivery &/or 6 months after nursing - No Exceptions

*Previous Permanent Cosmetics/Microblading -CONSULTATION IS REQUIRED

*Any scars or previous head trauma in the brow area

*Heart conditions/Pace Maker/Defibrillator

*Certain medications may prohibit you from having the procedure done.

*Surgical forehead/brow lift. Must wait 6-12 months for the face to "settle".

*Alopecia - Hair strokes will appear more blurred or blended.  Powder Brow is recommended.

*Trichotillomania - Due to constant pulling, scar tissue is prominent and pigment will not heal properly.

*Shingles on face - No Exceptions.  Permanent Cosmetics will not be performed as the procedure could cause a flare up.

*Eczema, Psoriasis or Dermatitis - Permanent Cosmetic procedures will not be performed during flare ups.

*Large pores on your forehead & in the brow area.  Hair stroke pigment will blur/blend in large pores.  Powder Brow recommended.

*Hemophilia - bleeding disorder.  Pigment will not implant into bleeding skin.

*Menopause - If you have hot flashes during the procedure, the pigment will not retain and the procedure may need to be stopped.

*Moles/raised areas in or around the brow area.  Pigment will not be put into anything raised.

*Piercing in the brow area.  Scars can cause the pigment to migrate or lay unevenly.

*Deep wrinkles in the brow area.  Hair strokes will not lay properly in the creases, giving the brows an uneven look.

*Thyroid condition and taking medication for this condition.  Hypo, Hyper Thyroid, Graves Disease, Hashimoto's

*Accutane or any other prescribed acne medications within the last year. Dr's note required with date of last use.

*Auto Immune Disorder of any kind (MS, RA, Lupus or the like).  Due to the medicines used to treat these diseases, pigment will not retain.

*MRSA - very contagious.  No permanent cosmetic procedure will be performed.

*By scheduling a service, a client has read and understands the "Pre Appointment" page and agrees to the terms and conditions.
