Pre Appointment
ARE YOU A CANDIDATE FOR PERMANENT COSMETICS?
The following conditions affect the retention and healing of NANO BROWS (a realistic hair stroke tattoo).

If any pertain to you, please schedule a POWDER BROW (a completely shaded tattoo).

*Oily or severely oily skin. The hair strokes will appear more blended, solid or not retain at all.

*Thicker skin due to past or present sun exposure. Hair strokes will heal unevenly or the pigment may not retain at all.

*Previous Permanent Cosmetics/Micro blade -CONSULTATION IS REQUIRED.

*Any scars or previous head trauma in the brow area.

*Alopecia - Hair strokes will appear more blurred or blended.

*Trichotillomania - Due to constant pulling, scar tissue is prominent and pigment will not heal properly.

*Large pores on your forehead & in the brow area. Hair stroke pigment will blur and blend in large pores.

*Piercing in the brow area. Scars can cause the pigment to migrate or lay unevenly.

*Deep wrinkles in the brow area. Hair strokes will not lay properly in the creases, giving the brows an uneven look.

The following will affect retention and apply to ALL cosmetic tattoo procedures:

*Eyeliner - Lash extensions must be removed at least a day before the service. DO NOT USE lash growth serums for at least 4 weeks before any eyeliner service. Contacts must be removed.
*Moles/raised areas in or around the brow area. Pigment will not be put into anything raised.

SUNBURNED/TAN SKIN. For optimal results wait 30 days after or prior to sun exposure. Pigment may not retain at all if skin is sunburned or if you tan regularly (includes tanning beds). There will be a service fee if a third appointment is required.

*Stop exfoliations (glycolic acids, Retinols, Vitamin A, etc.) on the intended tattoo area 2 weeks prior to your appointment.

*Excessive sweating. Wait 48 hours after a procedure to work out or sweat excessively, then only light exercise for the next 10 days. Salt in sweat "pulls" pigment out of unhealed skin.

*Menopause - If you have hot flashes during the procedure, the pigment will not retain and the procedure may need to be stopped.

*Botox or fillers should be done 2 weeks prior or 2 weeks after your appointment.

*Surgical forehead/brow lift. Must wait 6-12 months for the face to "settle".

*Alcohol, caffeine and blood thinners (aspirin, fish oil, etc.). Do not consume 48 hours before your appointment. All will cause bleeding which will affect your healed results. If blood thinners are prescribed please consult your doctor before scheduling an appointment to ensure it is safe to stop dosing during the 48 hours prior to the appointment.

*Certain medications may prohibit you from having any cosmetic tattoo procedure done.

*Smoking will slow healing.

*Pregnant or nursing. Must wait 6 months after delivery and/or 6 months after nursing.

*Heart conditions/Pace Maker/Defibrillator.

*Shingles on face. No cosmetic tattoo service will be performed as the procedure could cause a flare up.

*Eczema, Psoriasis or Dermatitis - No cosmetic tattoo service will be performed during flare ups.

*Hemophilia - bleeding disorder. Pigment will not implant into bleeding skin.

*Thyroid condition and taking medication for this condition.... Hypo, Hyper Thyroid, Graves Disease, Hashimoto's.
Pigment may not retain as well or at all.

*Accutane or any other prescribed acne medications within the last year. Dr's note required with date of last use.

*Auto Immune Disorder of any kind (MS, RA, Lupus or the like). Due to the medicines used to treat these diseases, pigment may not retain as well or at all.

*MRSA - very contagious. No permanent cosmetic procedure will be performed.
