What to Expect
Permanent Cosmetic procedures are a 2 session process. DO NOT expect your cosmetic tattoo to heal perfectly after the first session.
The Second Session is necessary to fine tune any area that has faded too much and is not included in the price of the initial service. Some guests have conditions which may require a third session and will be charged accordingly.

Here is what you can expect following your appointment:
*The pigment will oxidize and become a little darker during the week as the area heals. During this time, some guests may experience flakey, uneven healing and the pigment will appear very light under the areas of peeling or flaking. Do not pick.
*Expect the pigment to appear very light days 7-14 because the skin is healing over the tattoo. Don't panic!
*The pigment will resurface during the next 30 days resulting in the anticipated result which WILL BE 30-50% softer (lighter) and more natural looking than the initial service. At this time, DO NOT expect brows to look as dark or lips to look as bright as they did immediately following the procedure!
THIS IS A PROCESS. BE PATIENT with the resurfacing of the pigment and let the procedure have adequate healing over the course of 30+ days.
*Healing is specific to each client.

Some residual swelling is normal for ALL procedures and most swelling subsides on day 1-3.

Do not use makeup, exfoliating products or creams including sunscreen on healing areas for 10 days.
Brows: You may still need to powder and/or pencil even after the healed results. This is an enhancement to your natural brows...low maintenance, not no maintenance.

Lips: Pigment is bright immediately following the procedure. The color will fade to a soft blushing. This is the nature of the cosmetic tattoo procedure.

Second sessions will not be done any sooner than the recommended time frame.

If your brows are exposed to the sun a lot, if you have oily skin, use anti-aging creams, RetinA/retinol products, acidic cleansers, natural elements, regular chemical peels or exercise frequently, your permanent makeup WILL fade prematurely.

Great retention is achieved by following the aftercare provided as well as instructions for proper care.
Each time a procedure is done, the pigment will have less retention due to scar tissue.
At some point, we may no longer be able to perform services due to pigment over saturation. In this case, a laser removal or pigment lightening procedure is necessary before receiving another cosmetic tattoo.

As we age our skin changes. The PMU will eventually look more powdered... this is universal with all permanent makeup procedures.

It is important to realize that you will need a color boost every 2+ years to maintain its fresh natural appearance.
Fading will happen after each procedure.
There is NO GUARANTEE made to the final outcome of a permanent cosmetics procedure.
Your skin, lifestyle and after care play a huge roll in your results.

Remember, no two sides of the face are the same. "Brows are sisters, not twins"
